Starting just 14 days before the 2011 event industrial metal artist Clark Bettenhausen created, “Lost in Nevada,” especially for the 10th annual Run-A-Mucca motorcycle celebration. This 12’ X 22’, 850 pound metal sculpture is comprised of materials gathered exclusively in Humboldt County, Nevada.
Clark wishes to acknowledge the following art patrons for their generous contributions of “stuff” from their antiquities collections and “bone piles:”
Lonnie DeArmond of Paradise Hill
Ted Rookstool of Windspur Supply in Kings River
Mike and Wade Tiffany of T Salvage in Golconda
Scott Robison of Robison Recycling in Winnemucca
Contributing invaluable support for this project were Tom and Marlene Brissenden of Winnemucca and Richard Cook of Paradise Hill.
